It's just what we needed... and at a good price.

We remodeled our kitchen and I built some new base cabinets for the island and for the main counter extension and painted the rest that wasn't removed. I had some pretty china pens that I kept for years with a pretty rose that matched the burgundy color we used for the cabinets and they looked really nice. However, they had glued inserts into the hole that kept popping out so when we opened the drawer we had a pen in hand and it didn't take long to glue it back on. The simple answer would be to use a pull handle, but we didn't want that type, so they looked like a viable alternative... and they are. They are strong and solid, with a screw hole screwed right into the metal of the handle so nothing can be pulled out. They're a little smaller than the same style they replaced, but it's a good idea and they're just the right size for sliding two fingers back in and opening a drawer or door. The drawers don't have much resistance as I used ball bearing guides and they roll easily. The finish is good too and they look good against the dark color and at around $20 it was a great price for a quality pen. They came with two screws...a short one for the doors and a longer one for the drawers.
