I have been making chain mail for a number of years as a hobby related to jewelry making. I took live classes on the method. I wouldn't classify this project as a beginner's project as the label on the box indicates. It's more of an intermediate project in my opinion as it uses jump rings of multiple colors and you have to manipulate the jump rings in complicated ways. While I suspect the very experienced creators of this project would say this is a beginner's project, from my (non-expert) point of view it's a bit difficult. I don't want anyone trying to make this their first project and getting frustrated with this beautiful art.
