We ordered a size 6-8 yellow SwimZip Baby Boy Rashguard for our 6 year old son (48 inches, 40 pounds). He swam in it (too long, too big, too much space everywhere). So we got our 8 year old daughter to wear it (she is 53 inches, 60 pounds) and she fits in well with plenty of room to grow (note that it wasn't skinny or skinny, the cut isn't girly and the zipper is on the wrong side for a girl, but it works for our purposes, just to play in the pool). There are no places exhausted by lightning. Nice sunny yellow color and pretty good quality for the price but the material is not as thin and papery breathable as the more expensive brands.
