Review on 14-In-1 Multitool Camping Accessory Gift Set - Perfect Christmas Stocking Stuffers For Men And Women! by Mario Newton

Just a few inches in length makes a big difference in function, making it a more useful tool.

No that's not a crude male innuendo, I mean the tool is long enough to be used as a hammer or chopper. I bought a similar tool with a hammer head, but it was much shorter, and unless you were hammering in tacks, it wasn't very useful. While you are not gonna use this to frame a house, or shingle a roof, but if you have some loose nails, or need to pound in something thats loose, this can save you a trip to the toolbox. A hammer is about leverage, you don't need to put a lot of force behind it, it's the length and the swing speed that deliver the force. This has a lot more leverage than one three inches shorter, so it will pound in a medium sized nail with minimal effort. The small ax blade won't chop down a tree cut can cut a small branch, or cut some notches in a stick to hand a pot over a camping fire for instance. The rest of the tool is the typical things to expect from a multi tool for sawing, cutting or putting in screws. The tool steel is high quality, and it has many useful functions. The case is a thick tough nylon with a belt loop for taking it with you on hikes and even around the house. The case covers the entire top of the tool so the ax blade is not exposed in case you should accidentally fall, you won't cut yourself with it. It's not a convenient as a swiss knife, but more useful in many ways, although not recommended to take through an airport screen. Recommended.
