I travel a lot and usually use the traditional time when I'm not at home to turn the porch lights on and off for the obvious reason. Last time I came home and found the timer was very late by several hours. Something like a porch light goes on and off from 1:00am to 5:00am instead of 6:00pm to 10:00pm. After doing some research, I discovered that there were several long power outages in my area during my trip, which caused the traditional timer to go off at the wrong time. I ended up buying two sets of this timer and learned how to use it. The tiny printed manual could not even be read with reading glasses by old people like me. I use a magnifying glass to read the manual, download the app and try to set it up. You also need to learn how to distinguish the TINY LED color display in different modes. Once you get through the threshing hole it's pretty easy to control and use. Even when the power is off (I simulated the situation by turning off the power, resting for a few minutes and then turning the power back on), the timer setting still runs without error. Nice to have after some learning curve!
