The camera came with no instructions but it worked great once I figured out where to get power. The camera only turns on when you put it in reverse, this is the quickest and easiest way. Then all you have to do is run a video cable from the back of the car to the dashboard and connect it to the video input of the dashboard-mounted video box. A few notes on product performance. The reverse lights seem to have a bit of static when I hit the brakes (lines on screen coming and going, I'm not sure if this is the case for all of them). Does the color seem wrong, sometimes green trees in the distance appear pink? For the most part it works well for me, I can see clearly behind me when reversing and works great for parallel parking. One more note, you'll need to clean your camera lens quite often unless you're clear at night when the camera light comes on, and when the lens is dirty everything looks very blurry and hard to see.
