First off when they arrived they came in a box with each stone in a padded bag which not only kept them from being damaged but didn't do any harm either . with you. After washing them by hand and drying them completely, I put them in the freezer to cool faster. After 20-30 minutes they felt very cold. I immediately put 2 in my glass and poured some whiskey into it. My whiskey was at room temperature, which was already 75-80 degrees. After being moved, my whiskey not only cooled, but stayed cold the entire time I drank it. Even after I finished they were still cold, which allowed me to pour a second glass without using new ones. I've noticed that when I pour in room temperature alcohol, it stays cold for about 1-2 hours, especially if left in the freezer overnight. They're really easy to clean and dry, and even after everything I've done with them, they show no signs of wear, scratches or even rust. I bought these for myself but they come with a little pouch for easy storage and would definitely make a great gift.
