I was excited to get this paddle as a possible solution for another family member. On the positive side, it's relatively light and has rigid paddle surfaces. That said, I DON'T think this is carbon fiber. 100% recommended product! This paddle is a great purchase. Lightweight and quality built. The carbon fiber weave is tight and smooth. I applied some automotive wax in a few applications to give it a beautiful finish and smooth texture. It has a foam insert to ensure it floats quite well. Like the paddle. Leash had a broken clip. I do not want to return the paddle and leash. I just want the leash replaced. Can't figure out how to do this on Revain site.

My only point of comparison is a Aqua-Bound Sting Ray which is nearly double the price. The OceanBroad is a bit heavier and the attachment system is simpler, 2 angles versus multiples. I prefer the lighter Sting Ray, while my son is fine with either. Overall, it seems well made and a good value.

Was skeptical on it actually being carbon fiber. But it weighs as much as advertised. The paddles are a bit heavy but what a value for a carbon shaft.

I wanted a light weight paddle that wouldnt cause fatigue, and I liked the vivid color. At 65, it's important for me to reduce the stress on my shoulders. The clip was too tight for me to open, but my husband hooked it onto my kayak. I am very pleased with this paddle so far.

This is a very nice very light weight strong paddle, as good as paddles I paid much more for. They only offset 45 degrees right 45 degrees left or no offset - three settings. This is no issue for me, but may be for some. More expensive paddles often offset in 5 degree increments. I would definitely but this paddle again.

The design is such that when fully extended there are holes in the grip area of your right hand. Only on the narrowest setting do the move far enough towards center to not be annoying. Returned and just got the fixed version instead as it is a fine paddle otherwise

This paddle was a Father's Day gift for our favorite paddler. Our guys took it to the Boundary Waters for a week-long canoe and fishing trip (mostly flat water) and it performed perfectly. This is a great lower-cost, high-performance paddle. It's lightweight, yet incredibly sturdy. Hope to have it in use by our family for many years to come. We'll probably purchase a few more exactly like this one soon.

This is an incredible paddle for the price! Incredibly lightweight, paddle blades are great design for either shallow or deep water. Just got my paddle so I’ll let y’all know how it handles. The carbon fiber feel light yet sturdy. The packaging ir came in was done nicely so as to not damage the product during shipment.

I purchased 2 of these (one for me and one for my 10 year old son). Neither one of us has had any issues with the length or weight. They seem to hold up well and I would definitely purchase again!

We love these super lightweight paddles. Do yourself a favor is you get them in black = spray paint them (any color you like) for better visibility. Appreciate the bonus leashes too!

Carbon material is very light and comfortable to handle and well worth the extra investment.The surface shape and length of the paddle has been excellent to assist with my lighter weight Pelican X 100 for better trackingassistance. Mine was an actual carbon shaft (some people said they had carbon stickers over an aluminum shaft in essence), and the detents seem good unlike what I saw in other reviews as well. Happy with my purchase!

Just used once so far. From the picture, I thought there would be texture on the shaft but it has a smooth finish. Nevertheless, it worked well when I had to paddle for a half hour with no breaks to get across the lake ASAP and pack up in a hurry before the park gates closed. It is a nice lightweight paddle.

With the COVID-19 pandemic changing our lifestyle, my girlfriend and I have been kayaking a lot more. I purchased the paddle for a birthday gift. She smiles every time she puts it together and heads for her boat! The paddle is light, performs well and is attractive. All for the right price. I couldn't ask for anything more!
