A good first designer. Most of the set is made out of wooden blocks, but there are also plastic nubs that hold them together. Kids can stack colorful blocks to create anything they can imagine. Some blocks have animal faces, allowing you to build simple farm animals. I like the big buckets that they come in with a plastic sorting lid. This makes tidying up the set a lot more fun and gives you a handy place to store the blocks, plus there's a carrying handle. The blocks are quite small, suitable for small children from about 1 year.
