Review on 🎨 PHOENIX Blank Cotton Stretched Canvas Watercolor Painting - 8x10 Inch/4 Pack - Triple Primed for Water Soluble Paints, Mix-Media & Pouring Art by Linda Diaz

I bought this pencil along with several other watercolor pencils so I was keen to try both. I did notice a difference in the results, so I'm not entirely sure if it's the canvas or the pens. This is a well-made canvas that is durable, scratch-resistant and can withstand a lot of pressure due to brushing flaws. My problem is the difference in how the colors look; they look blotchy and hard to control, and I don't know if that's due to the plaster applied to the spot or my new Castle Art pens. Previous products are Master's Touch canvases and pens purchased from Hobby Lobby. Their canvas felt a bit smoother and their pens felt creamier, but the pen tips often snapped off, which was a nuisance. Castle Art pens have a greater variety of colors and are more numerous, which caught my attention. Full Disclosure: I'm fairly new to watercolor painting (previous medium of choice was oil) so I might just need to make some adjustments to my technique. . Anyway I will continue with these canvases and see if my technique is scarecrow and update my review later.
