I was hoping to replace the badly worn but very good tarp I use on my jeep in the summer. The doors and roof come off at the first sign of summer and I use a tarpaulin on rainy days. This tarp is nice and easy to use and provides good coverage. However, it is thin and in my experience does not hold up well in heavy rain. I even lick when regularly going outside and squeezing out a water bladder from accumulated rain from the inside. I'll use it as an emergency jeep tarpaulin in case we get caught in the rain, but I use my old, thicker one for heavier and/or longer rainy spells. I'm sure it'll be fine for light rain, sun or general protection. I just need something stronger for these summer storms.
