Great stuff in Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Plumbing
I was using this to seal valve stems on lanterns and stoves when they found a leak at this point. This is a very good alternative to finding and buying the whole stuffing box for repair. Yes, it can withstand the heat and with a very long repair.
