I bought these due to the limited range of waterproof and waterproof footwear. Didn't expect to wear them in the rain but on the third hole on the first day of use my feet got wet from the morning dew. To their credit, sketchers make very comfortable shoes. I always go and it has not disappointed me. I have difficult feet (bursitis and hammer toe) and ordered a size 8 in width. I had no problem tackling 5+ miles of hilly terrain during my lap. I chose not to return them due to their convenience, but I'm disappointed that at least they weren't waterproof. They look nice and are well made.
