I have curly hair and live in the suffocating humidity of the deep south. I'm not the type to spend a lot of money on hair tools/products but after a lot of experience with the T3 hair dryer which I got as a birthday present I decided to give it a try. Heat up time is quick and I appreciate the slim design and long cord. It is of good weight and easy to hold and use. The T3's simple base is much better than the folding stand on my old irons as they kept breaking or snagging on the cord. The 1.25 barrel is a good versatile size for creating different styles on my medium length hair. The one pass claim at the highest temperature worked like magic on my hair texture (3A) and my beach style loose waves lasted into the next day. My old Hot Tools irons have served me well for many years but are now obsolete. But even at its best, the T3 works far better for me. So happy with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to buy again.
