Buy this and a manual coffee grinder and you'll never be without amazingly fresh coffee

I bought this for an upcoming hike and now I don't care if I can use it there. I tested it once just to see if it worked, and now it accompanies me to work every day, even as a "cup". It's easy to use, durable, and the thermal protection is amazing. I got the version with the fabric strap instead of the plastic handle and am very happy with it. Easy to use and safe to use in the microwave "with the top clearly removed". But I sold this device and I love it. I add my ground coffee and sugar before going to the gym, throw it in the car, get to work, fill the microwave with water for 3 minutes and infuse amazingly fresh coffee. It's big enough for two people and I only have to brew one "pot" all day. Keeps you warm longer than expected and still exceeds expectations. Will post an update once he gets to my house after two weeks in Costa Rica. UPDATE AS PROMISE LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT, made the trip to Costa Rica with no issues and I was very impressed with how well it kept warm and kept my coffee perfect for long periods of time when traveling. I found the volume to be more than adequate for me and my companion, and rather than lugging around cups we drank straight from them with no problem. I like that the handle is fabric and is a bit snug makes it safe, easy to clean and I'm very happy with it. Gave up home coffee so he's on the road but he'll be back in the rotation because he's just really good at his job and that's something special. The clasp is nice and tight. I've never had a problem with some grounds in my coffee as I've heard there have been issues with other French travel presses and the build quality for the money is much better.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...
