Please note this is an OEM replacement; If your fan is a bit older (>2 years old) you will probably need to connect it by opening the battery compartment and pressing the "Pair" button for 3 seconds. You may have to cycle the fan once or twice and then press the "Pair" button again for 3 seconds for it to work, but then it works fine.
