Review on πŸ”Š Syba External USB Stereo Sound Adapter: Enhance Audio Source on Windows, Mac, Linux with Mic Jack - C-Media Chipset by Richard Payne

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Disappointing, don't buy this if you're using it with a mic.

I bought an external SYBA USB stereo audio adapter for my Antlion ModMic 5 to hopefully remove some of the noise my motherboard mic port was causing, unfortunately it was a lot worse compared to the much louder one , more defined hum and significantly quieter microphone feedback. It's cheap and will do if your audio ports are dying, but if you're looking for something to boost the quality of your mic you should probably look elsewhere. The device is also wider than most standard USB devices, allowing it to block ports on either side. This was tested both directly on the mainboard and with a powered USB hub. Pros: + Cheap + Audio outputs. Cons: - Cheap build quality - Poor microphone quality - Blocks nearby USB ports.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
