Review on πŸ”Œ Cliff Top 4.6 Amp 23W Dual-Port Motorcycle USB Charger: Fast Charging, Waterproof for ATV/UTV Handlebars (Maroon) by Rubeen Black

Revainrating 4 out of 5

i almost love it - GPS, finder and accessories

Almost like it. But I can't give it 4.5 stars so I agree I like it. The quality is top notch. I looked at all the USB power options for motorcycles on Revain and this one turned out to be the best. The waterproof coating gives a safe feeling when you ride on a rainy day and bathe the bike. That is hard! You can feel the weight of the high quality design and materials used, in contrast to the device this replaced which feels cheap and only lasted 11 months. The LED light makes it convenient and easy to plug in the USB cable during night driving when the phone battery is low and you don't want to mess around - I find that a good safety feature. The stainless steel bracket and aluminum body won't rust, a new requirement for any accessory I add to my bike. If it rusts, don't buy it. The cons are short-lived but worth noting - 1) There is a way to turn the device on or off. The LED is on all the time and I connected it directly to the battery. So if my bike wasn't used every week of the year, I had to disconnect it from the battery during storage or put a battery tender on the bike. . 2) Cliff-Top didn't finish the power cable - they're forced to figure it out themselves. I cut the 7.5 amp fused SAE connector and soldered the wires together so I can screw it to my battery. 3) The power cables were too short to fit on the handlebars of my Triumph Tiger battery. Therefore, soldering in the SAE connector as an extension cable made it possible to use it in real life. The cliff top should make the wires about 10 inches longer.

Pros
  • Chargers and cables
Cons
  • Some bugs
