Rode 16 miles through Pisgah Forest, NC including 9 miles of gravel, tech climb and bike climb and they stayed in place and comfortable the whole time . Never had to readjust. I've worn Fox Enduro knee pads in the past and they're obviously not as comfortable as these, but they just don't offer the protection I need for aggressive descents over rough, rocky terrain. Thankfully I haven't crash tested them yet but I'll update my review when I do and if everything goes as expected I'll add a #5 star and I bought a size smaller than usual so buy it them in your normal size). Update 6/16/30: Lots and lots of crashes and they have amazing protection with the D30. I now have a second pair and I bought a pair for my son. I will not wear any other intermediate or advanced level knee pads.
