I use this device with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 as well as my Samsung Note 9. When connected to an external monitor via HDMI, this turns on the Samsung Dex mode enables full desktop from your phone or tablet. The HDMI hub is made of aluminum and is very durable. I put it in my bag at the end of each day and it has held up well for the past month. I also tested this on an HP laptop. It successfully connected my monitor to my laptop allowing dual display or extended display. I don't have access to two external monitors to try both HDMI ports at the same time.
