I was persuaded to try these washcloths. They absorb well but don't dry out like paper towels. They don't drip, don't mold and aren't slimy, last for months. You can throw them in the dishwasher or washing machine, but I also soak them in bleach at least once a month to get rid of the stains. They last about 6 months before starting to fall apart which is what they were designed for. Made from pulp, they are environmentally friendly. They do a great job cleaning my favorite kitchen towel and I HATE kitchen towels because after a day they get slimy, rough and smelly.
