Purchase this product only to store small files such as photos and documents. I bought it to store all my movies on it and this hard drive is terrible for that. The read/write is so bad that it's impossible to play a 1080p movie without constant buffering and skipping. I've formatted it 3 times so far. It works for a day and then becomes ridiculously fragmented and freezes. Spend a little more and don't waste your money on this POS drive.
