Too small eye relief to be useful

Overall I like the quality of the Carson, but the Scout series compact binoculars leave a lot to be desired. I returned them. The eye relief (and the exit pupil) is too small, so even without glasses you have to almost press your eyeballs on the lenses and crackle your eyelashes, otherwise the picture will not come out as advertised. What good is a wide field of view if you can't get your eyes close enough to see it. (And they're not water and fog proof either, but I wasn't expecting that.) They should drop that line and go for something better with at least a little more eye relief. The Mini Scout only makes sense if the tiny size of the binoculars fits your needs 99% of the time.
