The best mount of all the best car accessories

I've had several mounts for my iPhone over the years, all of which disappointed in one way or another. It was much better and coincidentally the cheapest. I happily dropped a mount that cost around $50 when it turned out to be better. Yes, it only works if you don't have a case or bumper on your phone. I've never used anything on my iPhones (not even a skin) so it wasn't a problem for me. If you'd rather keep yours in some sort of case, that sure is annoying. My car has an iPhone audio system which for some reason has a big horn on the cable connector so I have to plug the cable in then insert it into the mount and when I'm ready to remove it unplug the cable first. There's nothing wrong with that, and it's not the repairer's fault, but rather the company that made the cable for my car. The package includes a dash mount, which I haven't even tried, and a windshield suction cup, which I use. When my car is parked outside on very hot days, I sometimes return to the steed, which lies miserably on the ground as if it couldn't stand the unbearable heat anymore. Living in Southern California, this happens more often in the summer than I would like. But I've never had a problem with it falling off when I'm in the car with the iPhone in the holder (if it's really that hot, my air conditioning works). It takes two seconds to reattach it to the windshield, so no big deal. One final note: I really like how it adjusts the angle and tilt, but it stays where you want it when you tighten it, and how it doesn't have a long arm from the windshield to the mount. One of the mounts I've used in the past had such a long arm that the iPhone kept shaking as we drove down the road. It was enough to give me motion sickness when trying to use the GPS. I'm about to get an iPhone 5 and just hope iGrip comes out with a compatible mount soon!
