As you can see from other reviews, this item often comes not as shown. What I received was the same except it didn't have a thumb rest. Instead, it comes with two cases that you need to put your phone in and then attach to the mount. I sent it back as it's impossible to get the phone out of the damn case they send. What if you ever have your own business? Forget it won't work.

the suction cup is not bad. It also feels strong. But if I can't answer the phone, what's the use. The part that holds the phone is very tight. Definitely not designed to work with an enclosure. I've tried two cases, neither of them are bulky. I couldn't install my iPhone4S. I don't like using my phone without a case and don't want to carry a case with me every time. If you use your phone without a case, at least you can use this product.

So I love this product. I got a clear idea of what's in the picture when I was expecting black, but I really don't care. I've had several mounts for my iPhone over the years, all of which disappointed in one way or another. It was much better and coincidentally the cheapest. I happily dropped a mount that cost around $50 when it turned out to be better. Yes, it only works if you don't have a case or bumper on your phone.
