Our aging Labrador was starting to cough up food from eating it too quickly. I decided to try this bowl and it has solved the problem! The shape slows her down, probably 4-5x slower than normal. She enjoys the challenge.My only negative is that it wouldn’t fit her whole meal if we fed her once a day. She gets a total of 3 cups of food / day. Fortunately, we split it up to one cup for lunch and two cups for dinner. The max for this bowl is two cups of food (in kitchen measuring cups). Just an FYI. But great bowl for the price!PS - the rubber stoppers on the bottom don’t work if your floor is covered in dog fur. 🤷🏼‍♀️
