Review on Martelli Square Motion Gripper 3 Piece by Carol Miller

I work on a long arm machine and do a lot of freestyle quilting. This hoop allows me to create large designs without having to change hand position and quilting. I even rotate it diagonally to get even more width for some designs! I can rest my hands on it and bring my hands closer to the needle area if desired. It really helps hold the quilt like extra hands! I found that I could fold the hoop up and over the front of the machine to get it out of the way so I could reposition the fabric. I've read in quilting groups that many people cut off a small flat part to open the frame and remove it without cutting the thread. Eventually my husband did it too and it doesn't affect how the tire performs. I love this tyre. I don't use it all the time for everything, but it's a huge benefit!
