This is an inexpensive power meter that is essential for my RV work. I use it to check the current draw of various 120V appliances in an RV. With the help of my KillOWatt counter and this I can get an accurate picture of current draws. This device has a faster response time than KillOwatt, so I can use it to detect short spikes in power usage, e.g. B. when starting a large engine. It's even big enough for my old school clip to work on the gauge. My old meter has a bandwidth of 100kHz so combined with this splitter I can connect to an oscilloscope and see the instantaneous current draw. I wish there was a bandwidth specification for this splitter, I didn't have time to find out experimentally.
