Review on Truu Design Magnetic Hourglass Inches by Veronica Williams

Design flaws?: thermometers and timers

Cool idea, that's why I bought it. But it only lasted a few minutes. Normal hourglasses have sockets at both ends so that the glass side does not touch the ground in the event of a fall. But since in this case you have to hold the base with one hand and pull the jar away from the sticky magnetic base to spin the hourglass, you probably want to control that power perfectly. Otherwise it may slip and fall. And as soon as it falls down, the glass hits the floor/table. See the photo (well that's partly my fault too) Is it ok to have this as a decoration without flipping it? Yes, but what's the point of an hourglass?
