I bought 3 medium sized Petsafe collars for all 3 dogs under 70lbs and they all fit perfectly. I order here and from Chewy. All three of my dogs (2 pit bulls, 1 greyhound shepherd mix) have one thing in common: they have small snouts and broad necks. Ordinary collars from which they can slip or slip out. They call the Martingale Petsafe Collar "NON-SLIP COLLAR" because they can't slip out of the collar while on the leash. Volunteer Animal Shelter uses Petsafe martingale collars for every medium to large sized dog because it's such a good brand and you don't have to worry about losing your dog when you take them for a walk. I recommend a 1 inch COLLAR, not a 3/4. In my experience, 3/4 adds up on large dogs and just doesn't work. ***** Please do not leave your dog at home unattended with this collar either. **Take it off your dog when you go inside. I heard it can cause choking. .
