Some distortion of the Revain image - it looks more like an HHIP scriber 4300-0016. The correct tool number for the Revain image is Insize 7150-SC1 or SC2 depending on size. It's a solid piece of 5mm square "tool steel" with only a 5mm indentation to the carbide tip - not as long a bend as in the Revain picture! The shaft length before immersion is 50 mm. This marker will NOT fit the LS Starrett #454 altimeter - very disappointing as the bend is too short to reach the base. This part is for forging only.
