674-551 should fit the Hyundai Beta 1.8 liter DOHC 4 cylinder engine commonly found in the Tiburon and Elantra. I have a 2000 Hyundai Tiburon 1.8L. Compared to the storage unit, these are two pieces instead of one. I see that as a plus as my original material tore in the weld between the pre-coil and manifold section when I hit the mother of all New York potholes (yes the bottom of the build touched the bottom!). So I looked for a replacement. A standard Hyundai from a dealership can be bought online for around $250. Dorman, which is sold at major auto parts retailers like Advance or Pep Boys, is much cheaper, costing around $120 online. So I said I ordered it from Revain.com. First, the packaging was terrible. The box was made of two layers of thick corrugated cardboard, but everything in the box was UNPROTECTED and just rattled! I was surprised to find no cracks (at least not visible on inspection) so I let it fly. But seriously. There is no foam or cardboard inside to protect the contents. It looked very strange! Next is the following: A. 2 parts of the assembly: pre-spool and distributor. It also comes with 3 gaskets: 1. a gasket between these two sections, 2. a gasket between the engine head and the manifold, 3. and a gasket between the rest of the exhaust pipe/system and the bottom of the pre-act). The kit includes 4 screws for assembling 2 sections. The kit includes 2 screws to attach the rest of the exhaust pipe to the assembly. That's all. So it does NOT include the bolts/nuts to attach the manifold to the engine head. I suppose you could reuse your old nuts if they were carefully removed, but it's recommended you replace them as they've already been exposed to severe heat and are weaker than when they left the factory in 2000. Other than that, it's a good complete set that saves money and time. The inner walls of the collector are rough. Definitely no header/collector performance. But that's my daily driver/racquet machine so I don't care but thought I'd mention it because I looked at it and shook my head. However, the BIGGEST downside to this is that it doesn't fit perfectly where the end of the pre-cat meets the rest of your exhaust pipe/system. It falls slightly and is shorter than the standard device. So what you need to do to install it is remove one of the metal brackets at the end of the exhaust pipe to allow the pipe itself to drop about 3/4 - 1 inch to fit into the assembly. Also, the hose needs to be moved about 1 inch towards the front of the car, which is possible due to the rubber mounts and flex hose, but I'm not very happy with pulling this hose that much. This is my number one installation tip and will save you a lot of time and headaches. If you agree that this is the biggest drawback of this product, then buy it. Otherwise, order an OEM Hyundai unit from your dealer.
