The best return on your money.

I camp a lot on wheels and therefore make 3-4 water filters a year. So I've tried many options over the years and settled on this one as it offers the best value for money I could find for in-line water filtration. It's not perfect - the flex connector is slightly cheaper. at the junction of the flexible hose with a brass fitting. However, it didn't disappoint, so I don't think giving it one star would be right. At least one other review says gray water comes out when you first turn the water on. This is normal behavior and is the result of residual carbon being washed out of the filter element. I recommend that when you plug it in, after storing it for some time, you run a gallon or two of water through it to flush out this stuff before plugging it into your RV's water intake. The taste of water that comes through the filter is noticeably improved compared to unfiltered water and I think that's what interests people the most. It doesn't 100% eliminate the chlorine taste found at many RV parks, but it does help and I'm sure the water is safe to drink.
