Highly recommended for water filtration systems and parts

These filters are great. I've used Camco filters before, but I think they're a little better. I also think they can last longer. I have a good fifth wheel water supply and with these filters there is no odor or bad taste.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other options

The filter works! on RV Parts & Accessories

Clean Water After Initial Charcoal Release! The smells disappeared immediately and the taste (ice cubes) became much better. I'm on wheels full time and use the water mainly for cleaning and cooking and it's been great! Small flexible hose; Find another option as mine leaked right away even after you checked the seals and added teflon tape.

I use it to filter water in the washing machine.

5 stars because these are very good, inexpensive filters that have many uses. I have a horrible sulfur/iron-coated well water smell. I installed one of these in the washer filler hose. This helps reduce the amount of inconvenience that comes with each download. It still filters well after 20 washes. My water is so terrible and it seems like it helps a lot for this purpose.

Pros
  • High-quality workmanship
Cons
  • Some nuances

Do not use flexible bag filters OK

I start by installing the flexible hose guard that comes with the two filters, it's junk, it's too flimsy at the junction of the metal and rubber. My filters started releasing gray water, this resolved after a few minutes of operation. I have well water but have had other filters in the past and had no problems. I do not recommend this flexible hose for taste. OK, nothing wrong, try it, the filters themselves seem fine

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • The list will be long.

The best return on your money.

I camp a lot on wheels and therefore make 3-4 water filters a year. So I've tried many options over the years and settled on this one as it offers the best value for money I could find for in-line water filtration. It's not perfect - the flex connector is slightly cheaper. at the junction of the flexible hose with a brass fitting. However, it didn't disappoint, so I don't think giving it one star would be right. At least one other review says gray water comes out when you first turn the water…
