It works fine on Windows but not on Linux.

Runs on Windows. OK. The latency is low, which is a plus, but for some reason it sometimes leads to serious slowdowns. Linux support is even worse. Although you can connect a capture device, you can't change FPS or resolution without crashing in Manjaro and Solus. It seems Linux also defaults to 640x480. Also, if you connect the audio output in OBS, the video will disappear. Updating the firmware from the site does not help. I wouldn't pay $80 for it to be honest, but I can see where it can work well. Unfortunately not for me.

Pros
  • *With USB3.0 high-speed data transfer, easy HDMI video capture to computer, and support for real-time video streaming.
Cons
  • There are nuances
