Soft and colorful but may need a wash
This rug is very soft and my child loves it. Unfortunately it stunk upon arrival. It smelled of gasoline and the smell got onto my hands as I picked it up. It was also vacuum packed, incredibly flat and deformed. I washed it in cold water with detergent and it still smelled so I washed it again in warm water with bleach and that got rid of the smell. We tumble dried it on low heat until dry. After cleaning and drying, it is incredibly soft and comfortably soft, perfect for my baby's desires. But the smell was so terrible that I seriously considered returning it.
