Extra buttons on Logitech mouse don't even work in pass-through mode

Nice looking device, but it takes a little fiddling to make it work. Mine appeared in a weird mode where computer 1 shows up on monitor 2 but not monitor 1, and computer 2 shows up on monitor 1 but not monitor 2. Keyboard shortcuts must be used to exit this mode. At least the instructions were helpful! I also had to unplug my monitors and computers multiple times to get everything working properly. It works now, but my Logitech MX Master mouse only performs basic functions, most of the modifier buttons don't work. work in both emulation mode and end-to-end mode. This was not the case with the previous KVM. The Logitech Options software does not recognize the mouse, even in pass-through mode. I'm leaving it in emulation mode for now as I don't get any additional functionality in pass-through mode. Also, my tower's BIOS doesn't see the keyboard. So I can't control the boot options. I tested this behavior with two boxes of Windows (7 and 10) and Linux. I will use this KVM switch until I find one that works with modern mice. I suppose I could use 2 mice and only use them in KV mode. Update: My HP ZR30w main monitor does not dim properly with this switch. It shows vertical patterns so I need to turn it off. When I switch from the laptop to the tower, the left monitor goes blank and displays a "No HDMI signal" message. The switch works, but not very well. I live with it for the time being, but am looking for alternatives
