Just received and installed today. There are no installation problems. Easily recognized by both computers. Monitor configurations are saved by both systems. 4k @ 60Hz in landscape mode and 2k @ 60Hz in portrait mode. Sound comes through too (after figuring out how to properly identify the HDMI outputs). I had a problem six months after using KVM every day. The support was very responsive and thank you very much!

For operating two 4k monitors and for connecting MacBook Pro and Dell laptop. Doesn't do everything it advertises. The wireless mouse and keyboard jump around, although they're both 2.4GHz and advertised as compatible. Sometimes the image quality drops for no reason. I use ALL recommended cables. There is no technical support. A very picky product. I would not recommend it at all.

Considering the cost of this TESmart KVI Switch model and other available products, this product is generally good. My only complaint is that the specs are not clearly described, which can cause problems for some customers. I have a Corsair mechanical keyboard with built in USB passthrough that doesn't work with the keyboard and mouse ports as they aren't powered. After connecting new devices (mouse/keyboard/computer), the mouse freezes and you see double cursor, screens turn off and you have a black screen and other problems . The box contained a card with support phone numbers that didn't work and an email address. The letter was sent five days ago and I have not received a reply. For these reasons, the KVM switch was returned.

I bought this when I was working from home because I wanted to quickly switch between my work laptop and my gaming PC without having to switch a bunch of ports or cables. This works very well. However, I took the risk because it had all the features I need in KVM to control two computers in a dual monitor configuration. Setup was easy and so far everything has worked perfectly. Nice looking device, but it takes a little fiddling to make it work. Mine appeared in a weird mode where computer 1 shows up on monitor 2 but not monitor 1, and computer 2 shows up on monitor 1 but not monitor 2. Keyboard shortcuts must be used to exit this mode. At least the instructions were helpful! I also had to unplug my monitors and computers multiple times to get everything working properly.
