Well I've never owned a turntable. But the instructions that come with it are very simple and I could start making music right away! I definitely recommend reading the owner's manual carefully so you don't accidentally damage your turntable. There is information on what you should and shouldn't do to ensure the longevity of your turntable (e.g.: replace the plastic needle cover when not using the phonograph function; DO NOT block the side vents with objects or a Wall). So I am very happy with this turntable! Not only is it made of wood and very beautiful, it also has so many different functions. I can play vinyl, connect to Bluetooth devices, connect to devices with the included aux cable, play music from a USB stick, and burn my vinyl tracks to WAV files if I want. The sound from this player is so beautiful. And the volume range is great; it can be as loud or as quiet as you like. Can't wait to use it in my new apartment and show my friends. I'll be making music with it all the time! I can FINALLY start collecting vinyls! And this turntable also comes with its own cleaning cloth, power adapter and spare capped stylus. I DEFINITELY buy this player if you consider it. It's worth the price. It is beautifully built and I believe it will last for many years. Making music with it is pure joy.
