This year we received many ZOSI cameras, at least a dozen, 4-5 different models. I found a few broken ones which the company replaced without much hassle. This one is almost entirely made of plastic and weighs half as much as the previous ones. Seems to work better than others, wide angle around 80 degrees, good night vision abilities. *** A big caveat about using the 'Reset' option in the menu. I tried it on this one and thought I killed it but it came back after a few minutes instead of 5 seconds. as indicated in the instructions. I have another (similar) ZOSI model that I "reset" but it doesn't work anymore (sometimes shows scrambled video, mostly black screen). Will try to return/exchange. I no longer have to reset my settings! The overall video quality is good (not bad, but not great either). It doesn't work well with sunlit and dark shadows in the same view. There are plenty of controls to try out in the menu, but I didn't manage to find a good balance when sun and shade were in sight. Does very well when the view is evenly lit by normal daylight. Night vision is good, but if your vision is less than 15 feet, IR projects a bright spot in the center, not an even floodlight. If your night vision is more than 20 feet, the IR brightness will decrease quickly. I find it best to try the default setting first, and then gradually change only what you don't like. Changing the day setting can also change the night setting (for better or for worse).
