I love these. If you have a friend or relative who styles or felts doll hair, this would make a thoughtful gift. I root my reborn dolls. Finding the right size to give the doll a realistic look is difficult. They are beautiful. They really do look so nice and clean compared to the ones I usually get when machine oil is removed. I believe they are stainless steel. Protection of the little fingers also seems to be an issue, some say they are too big, others say they are not big enough. Sounds like a brothel complaints department. Obviously they cannot do custom sizes. I put them on and put them in warm water for a few minutes. Leave them until dry. They fit your finger. With both felting and reborning, it shouldn't be a problem if they get a little wet while you're working. Mine get wet anyway, so I found a way to make them perfect (they smell VERY bad, too). The needle packs are also color coded. I use them now and order more. When I send my foster mothers their newborn babies, I include an ambulance package. It contains several bubbles of the desired color and about 3 grams of mohair, as well as root needles. (You never normally need color, but mohair is different. If left unmoisturized, it can become brittle.) Adding some of that would be amazing. Thanks very much!
