Review on Enhanced Camshaft 🔧 Position Actuator Solenoid Replacement by Muhamed Hogan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect fit for my 2013 Malibu ECO.

I have an annoying check engine light. I used my scanner to read the P0013 trouble code. I looked up the trouble code and it was the exhaust valve timing (VVT) sensor. I've watched a few videos and it really is as easy as it sounds to change them. I say them because you can buy just one sensor or both. Since the one on the exhaust side failed, I bought both for a few bucks and replaced both. If it fails. The sensor on the intake side gives trouble code P0014. You will need a 10mm socket and a ratchet with a 3-5 inch extension. The hardest part was unplugging the electrical connectors, and even that was easy. Remove and replace one at a time. So don't mix them up. They are color coded for their location and are therefore not interchangeable. Be sure to lubricate the rubber o-rings with some oil that separates from the ones you remove. I just replaced them so hopefully it will be a long time before I can update this review on durability.
