Review on 🌿 Eau Thermale Avene Tolerance Extrême Emulsion: Sterile Formula with Minimal Ingredients for Sensitive Skin - 1.6 Oz by Lindsay Law

I like this lotion. When I moved in last January, my clogged pore situation worsened dramatically. Of course I was told that others couldn't see them (even a dermatologist who's in his 40's and when he looked I doubt he could see anything up close without glasses anymore). But I've used a magnifying mirror for years because I can't see up close to apply makeup, lotion, or pluck my eyebrows; And I CAN see clogged pores and I HATE them. I'm 68 so why the hell am I still having these issues? Well I do, which is why I read a lot about how to deal with them. If I want to spend hours doing lots of things with my skin like steaming, masks and more my skin can improve but I've tried those things without success so I'm done. So I simplified. I use the recommended cleansers, lotions/sunscreen (that's one thing), vitamin C serum and that's it. My only treatment right now is RetinA 0.05%. I'm not sure if this lotion is contributing to my clogged pores. But I must have a moisturizer and I also use this along with one from La Roche-Posey (can't remember the name, sorry I'm old lol). Both were recommended by a male blogger who has done extensive research on facial thrush. . My dermatologist and primary nurse insist that I am fungus free, but I find it prudent to continue using the recommended products. I will continue to use this fragrance-free, preservative-free lotion with carefully selected ingredients. It absorbs well, has never stung my eyes and keeps my skin super supple when using RetinA. I don't think there is a lotion that won't clog pores. I've also been told that as skin ages, it becomes more difficult to remove oil and dirt from pores. This is where RetinA (I just started using it last week) comes to the rescue because it increases cell turnover. I tried over the counter Differin but got absolutely no results after 3 months so I gave up. For anyone struggling with clogged pores, especially the elderly, this lotion may be one of the few that has all of its excellent properties. I've just ordered my 2nd tube and am praying that over time RetinA will work.
