Admittedly, I'm a collector of kitchen gadgets and this one is at the top of my favorites list. Even if you only use it to grate cheese, it's worth it. I was able to grate a huge pile of cheddar in just a few minutes. It's far easier, quicker and safer than using a grater, and the quality of the grate is far better than what I can achieve with my grater. (Photo 3) I think my favorite way to use this grater is to prepare raw lettuce with a thin blade. I like it, a bunch of veggies like carrots, cucumbers, red peppers, some cabbage, etc. Then I drain the water, maybe add some chickpeas, some feta, black olives, and a few drops of a good salad dressing like Garlic Expressions. For me, this is a wonderful, healthy lunch. The grater is of very good quality and the plastic used is very durable. It sticks to the counter and doesn't budge. Installing and changing blades takes just a minute, and cleaning is just a rinse. There is a small white button on the side that allows you to release the spout for easy rinsing. I wish it came with a blade suitable for finely grating fluffy Parmesan cheese. This is not a gadget that is difficult to set up. , use or save pain. It's all quick and easy, and it's one of those tools that make cooking easier, safer, and more fun. Highly recommended!
