Surpassed my expectations!

WOW! I bought it when the 512GB model was on the $140 daily sale. I couldn't believe the read and write times and performance specs at this price point. I was still skeptical when I ordered it after reading the reviews. But the boy was surprised how this child works. My HP Envy 15t worked with a standard WD Blue 5400RPM 750GB hard drive. The hard drive on it started having problems when someone accidentally tripped over the power cord and dropped the laptop. The laptop took quite a while to boot up, showed high disk usage after the book, but oddly worked fine after that. The hard drive has been cloned and replaced with an exact replacement model. It didn't fix anything. After months of just hibernating the laptop and restarting it frequently to avoid this problem, I decided to investigate a clean install of Windows. I've also considered trying an SSD. Not long after, I stumbled across this deal and jumped on it. I installed a Windows 10 installation image on a USB stick using Windows Media Creation Tool, booted and installed Windows 10 on this SSD with no errors. The installation literally took 10 minutes. Next, I turned off the laptop and checked the boot time. He started in 5th FUCKING. SECONDS. I've reinstalled drivers and software in the last 30 minutes and love this new SSD. The read and write times I get are as advertised. In fact, my sequential read times were about 50Mbps higher than advertised. I am very happy with this purchase. Yes, there are better products, but they are much more expensive. In fact, the sequential performance of this SSD is quite comparable to most mid-range SSDs. I think the only place it lags is in random read and write times. This is a huge upgrade over any hard drive and a reliable and affordable solution to an SSD!
