Easy to install and works great in a 2008 laptop. Ubuntu MATE 16.04 takes 45 seconds to boot. I like that the green hard drive activity light barely lights up when it's on. It flashes quickly while the SSD performs tasks with ease. (In contrast, the old hard drive took 9 minutes to boot and shut down in Windows Vista with no programs running. I bought this for my Lenovo T440 and it works great. It loads fast and all my programs seem to be much faster. I overclocked it to 537MB/s read and 433MB/s write on my laptop, which was pretty impressive. I'm an experienced computer builder and have had absolutely no luck with Transcend's software. It didn't recognize my drive at all on my USB SATA Themalake BlacX adapter, or even after the drive was cloned and I used it on my laptop. (See screenshot below.) I usually clone drives on my systems
