At first glance I was pleased with this replacement. The teeth looked well finished and free of burrs, the metal was of good quality and the bearings were sealed in a little packaging. However, when I went to install it, I found that there were small scratches and dents everywhere, like someone had dropped it on the concrete floor several times. The shank that fits into the brass bushing was particularly bad - so bad that it had to be sawed to fit fully. Both the worm gear and the driven gear also had damage to several teeth. Overall very poor quality and unacceptable. Returning for a replacement from another supplier
