Review on ECOGARD XF65472 Engine Fuel Filter by Jordan Weakland

Stupidly I bought this item for my 09 Ford Focus SE 2.0L without checking the car first. This vehicle does NOT have an integrated fuel filter. Even in local auto parts stores these filters are sold as "straight fit". I have traced the fuel lines from the tank to the engine and there is NO filter. I took it to my mechanic thinking since I'm just a backyard mechanic I might have missed something but he checked it and couldn't find it either. We're both at a loss because every auto parts store sells filters built in for it, but they're not on the car itself. It looks like I have an extra part lying around in the garage right now. In any case I won't say it was a bad product as it really looks like a quality product. I can't rate the performance, so I'm giving it 3 stars. Before placing an order, don't forget to visually inspect your car.
