This material is a very heavy glass. I used it to fix a sailboat rudder and it's too heavy to get wet in a tight spot. I didn't know what 24 ounces was but now I know it's huge. I would say this would be for flat laminated projects where more strength is required. I think the epoxy needs a bit of drying. It was my fault that I bought this fiberglass weight as I didn't know the difference between the weights. If you're doing typical dent and damage repairs on boats, I would use thinner glass. The quality of this material seems to be top.
