Definitely the best choice for lifting lift cabinets in our caravan. My wife and I are tired of holding closet doors and only having one hand free. I found various cheap jacks at local hardware stores, mostly sliding bars with large turnbuckles that weren't that easy. to use and looked ridiculous but then I stumbled across them on Revain.com.Functional and they look good too. Beautiful satin nickel. The right gear for the job that doesn't look cheap. Very easy to install and configure. After measuring and installing one, the rest was easier. When properly tensioned, they actually work like a slow close with our lightweight cabinet doors. These are strong, sturdy supports and I could see some household use, but be careful with heavier lids. The cupboard doors in our caravan are lightweight and easy to maintain, so I only used one at a time. Create tension in the corner and loosen the gusset.
